[[This unconventional collection of pictorial, sculptural and literary art is housed by the authentic charm and detail of a classic Parisian locale, situated in the St Germain-des-Prés, rive gauche of Paris. [[This first cycle in the series highlights the debut in France of the artist and writer from New York, Scott Zwiren, whose 1996 autobiography "God Head" won the Barnes and Noble debut book award, and whose style combines a unique blend of traditional storytelling, original drawings and poetry to summon the audience into the artist's personal decent into bipolar illness, loss and triumph through artistic expression. This exhibit also features an original audio interview of the artist, originally signed copies from a selection of the artist's published literary works and original illustrations.///Ce premier cycle de la série met principalement en lumière les débuts en France de l'artiste et écrivain new yorkais Scott Zwiren, dont l'autobiographie « God Head, 1996 » (Tête de Dieu, 1996) a remporté le prix Barnes and Nobles, comme première œuvre littéraire. Une œuvre parfumée de contes traditionnels et de dessins originaux, à travers laquelle l’auteur dévoile avec poésie sa bipolarité, ses pertes et ses triomphes. Seront également présentés un entretien original audio de l'artiste, ainsi qu’une sélection d’œuvres littéraires dédicacées et picturales originaux.]]

[[It is a question of the physical limits and transformed talents of works created with the left hand following the tragic loss of the right hand that has arisen in the works of Zwiren. The rivalry between the meticulous and the abstract, youth and anonymity versus maturity and celebrity, and the force of nature against its own fragility; such are the various reflections of the coexistence of duality that will be proposed to the visitor by the other three artists.///Si la question de la limite physique et du talent nouvellement éveillé sur les œuvres créées avec la main gauche suite à la perte tragique de la main droite s’est posée chez Scott Zwiren, la rivalité entre la méticulosité et l’abstrait, la jeunesse et l’anonymat face à la maturité et la célébrité, et la force contre la fragilité, seront autant de réflexions sur la dualité et leur coexistence qui seront proposées par les trois autres artistes au visiteur.]]
